The Purpose of the Citizen Participation Portal is to give residents and property owners the opportunity to understand and try to mitigate any real or perceived impacts the proposed land use application may have on the community; ensure that the citizens and property owners of the City of Maricopa have an adequate opportunity to learn about applications that may affect them and to work with applicants to resolve concerns at an early stage of the process; and facilitate staff, and elected officials throughout the application review process.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING - Proposed Sale of City Owned Land

Pursuant to A.R.S. Section 9-403, as amended by Chapter 198, Senate Bill 1335, notice is hereby given to the general public, that the City of Maricopa City Council will hold a public hearing to consider the proposed sale of City-owned land located at the Southwest corner of Maricopa-Casa Grande Hwy. and White and Parker Rd., Maricopa, AZ. This hearing is an opportunity for residents to learn about the sale and provide their input regarding the City’s intention to sell this property.

Parcel Description: Assessor Parcel Number: 510-49-002B
Location: Southwest corner of Maricopa-Casa Grande Hwy. and White and Parker Rd., Maricopa, AZ.

Purpose of Sale:
The City is proposing the sale of this land as part of its ongoing efforts to create Maricopa Business Park. The sale will allow the City to repurpose the land for the benefit of residents and to promote economic development, job creation, community development, and infrastructure development.

Public Input:
Residents are encouraged to attend the hearing and share their comments or concerns regarding the proposed sale. Written comments may also be submitted prior to the meeting by emailing Vanessa Bueras, MMC, City Clerk at vanessa.bueras@maricopa-az.gov
